Description: - A 15ct yellow gold, platinum fronted, & diamond novelty chick and egg pin brooch. The pin depicts a chick with diamonds to its body contemplating an egg in the form of a seed pearl. The brooch is stamped ‘PLAT 15Ct’ to denote 15ct gold and platinum fronted.

Period: - Early 20th Century.

Measurement: - The brooch pin measures 5.2 cm (end to end) x 0.9 cm (height) x 0.6 cm (depth).

Weight: - 2.7 grams / 0.09 troy ounces.

Condition: - There are light surface scratches to the brooch as would be expected with the age and usage of the piece. The seed pearl and diamonds are in good condition. Pin and clasp work with no issues. Please note the pearl is untested and unwarranted for natural pearl. Gemstone treatment is unknown. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
